31 October 2018. Team South Africa for the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) recently participated at the 2018 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Doha, this was the 48th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships held from the 25th October to 03rd November 2018.
The South African Team competed among the best gymnasts in the World such as Simone Biles, with about 144 gymnasts competing in the Women’s All-Around Qualification; Team SA performed incredible.
It was Team SA Caitlin Rooskrantz who leaded the South African Team, with the highest score at the Aspire Dome. Caitlin a top finisher in the South African Team, secured a rank of 59th in the Women’s All-Around Qualification with total score of 49.198. This 2018 South African Champion battled her way to finishing up in the top half margin of the competition, with great solid routines she leaded the entire Africa gymnasts.

Angela Maguire also performed at her best ability, she had a clean competition securing the 87th rank with total score of 46.866 in the Women’s All-Around Qualification.
Naveen Daries despite “fighting through tonsellitis,” she performed fantastic. Naveen finished 90th in the Women’s All-Around Qualification, with a total score of 46.732.
