SA Team to compete World Jump Rope Championships, 2017

The selected South African Rope Skipping Team will be representing South Africa at the 2017 World Jump Rope Championships & Camp. The World Jump Rope is an international sports federation dedicated to spreading the sport of jump rope, and many best rope skippers around the world are set to be among those to compete.

The World Jump Rope Championships will be held in Orlando, Florida USA from the 30th June – 10th July 2017. The exact venue for the World Jump Rope Championships & Camp will be the University of Central Florida, in America.

The selected South African Team is as follows:

Sonopo Tshilwane 23 – 29 yrs 30 sec speed, 3 min speed, Triple unders & Freestyle
Mbali Nyundu 19 – 22 yrs 30 sec speed, 3 min speed, Triple unders & Freestyle 2X 30 doubles & Chinese wheel freestyle
Amanda Msongelwa 16 yrs and younger 30 sec speed, 3 min speed, Triple unders & Freestyle 2X 30 doubles & Chinese wheel freestyle
Keolebogile Mokolopo 30 yrs and over 30 sec speed, 3 min speed & Freestyle
  • Keolebogile will also be the Head Coach for the Team.
