| 10th African Gymnastics Championships Walvis Bay. (NAM) 28 February - 13 March 2010 5 March 2010. Tyrone Morris, claimed bronze all round with 80.250 points, 1.95 point short of the gold which was won by Egyptian Mohamed Sherif El Saharty. In the Junior section, Ryan Patterson came in 4th all round with 76.500 points, 0.250 point from the bronze. Tyrone did well in the qualification rounds of the Parallel Bars and High Bar coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Ryan Patterson also had a great showing in the Junior Apparatus qualification round coming in 2nd in the Parallel Bar and the Vault. Tiaan Grobler also impressed claiming 2nd place in the Junior Rings Qualification. Competition continues today with the Junior and Senior Apparatus Finals. The South Africans look set to winning medals at the apparatus finals. __ End.
