05 December 2019. Bulls star, comedian and Olympic hopeful to judge SAGF #Perfect10 event
The South African Gymnastics Federation’s #Perfect10 event will have an all-star line-up of judges, with Springboks and Bulls rugby player Lizo Gqoboka lining up.
The three judges at the event will be Springboks and Bulls rugby player Lizo Gqoboka, comedian Lindy Johnson and future Olympian Caitlin Rooskrantz. The SAGF #Perfect10 takes place on the Friday, 13 December at the Rembrandt Hall, TuksSport in Pretoria.
The event will feature all South Africa’s top gymnasts across all disciplines, including recent medalists and world cup finalists Phiwe Nhleko, Luke James, Malusi Tumtumana, Mkhululi Gosa, Buyisile Hubela & Tshilwane Sonopo, Mammulle Rankoe & Naveen Daries.
There will be five teams competing, which are the (Red) Cheetahs, (Blue) Cranes, (Green) Gazelles, (Black) Zebras and (Yellow) Meerkats. The colours of the teams were chosen to represent Olympic rings, forecasting the Tokyo Olympics next year.
The action starts at 14h30, with the world’s youngest DJ, 7-year-old DJ Arch, taking to the decks making the vibes in the stands as electric as the action on the floor.
Meanwhile, the #MovementDanceChallenge is taking social media by storm leading up to the event and the public is encouraged to show off their dance moves and add their #MovementDanceChallenge to their social media accounts.
The South African Gymnastics Federation governs nine gymnastics disciplines, including Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Aerobic Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Trampoline and Tumbling, Rope Skipping, Gym for All and Parkour.
Attendees will be treated to some of the best gymnastics South Africa has to offer, with some gymnasts preparing for the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and others preparing to defend their World placings.
The SA Gymnastics Federation’s #Perfect10 event will start at 16h00 and entry to the event will be free of charge and promises to be a fun affair for the entire family. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats as it is first come first served.
